09 Nov Year 6 create their own games
This week, Year 6 have created their own gaming algorithms. They learnt how flowcharts are used to create specific sets of instructions that show the steps of a process. The class learnt that specific shapes represent different parts of the process; actions are represented by rectangles and diamonds show where decisions have to be made.
We played a game of snap and noted down specific actions and decisions that needed to be made; for example, how to decide who goes first and then created flowcharts to show the process. We then played the game again in slow motion to test them and identify any errors in our flowcharts.
