Our Voices Matter

Here, at St. Matthias, we value the uniqueness and individuality of every single one of our children. We are a proud community of children and staff from a diverse range of African, Caribbean,  Asian, Middle Eastern and European heritages.

We celebrate the power in the individual story and, as a school, we ensure that our learning reflects the beauty and significance of diversity. Our voices will be heard; we will be given space and opportunity to express how we feel and learn how to use our voice to make changes to our world.

Part of having the confidence to use our voices is to know who we are and where we want to be in the future. This is embedded and celebrated in our curriculum.
