This year, we have really reflected on how to make the curriculum in Key Stage One and Key Stage Two as engaging as possible, in order to prepare our children for life within and outside of school. We teach a combination of phonics and reading strategies to support with reading; we use a high quality, text-based approach to our writing cycles; and we provide high-level maths lessons, which are designed to develop fluency and reasoning skills. All of these skills are developed upon from learning in the Early Years all the way to Year 6.
