In Key Stage 1 and 2 the curriculum is made up of core subjects:
We use the SFA (Success for All) programme for reading and phonics. In KS1, the children spend 90 mins in the afternoon doing a combination of phonics, reading and writing from the texts that they have read. The phonics within SFA is called FastTrack Phonics.

- Personal, Social, Health and Citizenship Education.

Across the school children are taught literacy using Success for All (SFA) which improves our pupils’ skills, fluency and confidence in all aspects of literacy; raises self-esteem, developed social skills and establishes a culture of co-operative learning.
